Silverdale has a Neighbourhood Watch network, where neighbours and friends come together to create a safer, stronger and more active community. Over the past few years, it has grown from strength to strength and, through its mobile phone ‘WhatsApp’ group, has been instrumental in helping the police investigate criminal activity and in finding lost children, adults, and animals.
All village residents are urged to join and be part of this ‘WhatsApp’ group, to help keep all informed of anything of worry, to share information, and be there for eachother. If you are not part of the Silverdale Neighbourhood Watch ‘WhatsApp’ group, and would like to join, please text ADMINS: to the following contact, and ask to be added. You will need to provide your name and street address. In some cases, a referral may be required from a resident or member of the group.
