The Parish Council Net Zero Carbon Working Group has reviewed CO2 emissions data from the Centre for Sustainable Energy and Impact:

There are many websites available where you can check your individual household carbon footprint, but one of the most respected is at: https://footprint.wwf.org.uk/#/

Don’t forget that the Parish Council has two Thermal Leak detectors which can be borrowed by householders in Silverdale to examine where heat is escaping from their properties. If you would like to pinpoint where your home is losing heat, you can borrow one of the devices. You will need to sign for it and leave a £20 cash deposit, which will be returned to you when the detector is returned safely and without damage.  To book a device, please email: keith.reed@silverdale-pc-lancs.gov.uk .
