HELP SILVERDALE PLAN FOR EMERGENCIES The Village Institute 2-4pm Saturday 8 February 2025

Due to risks in the National Risk Register published by the Government and The Lancashire Resilience Forum, Silverdale Parish Council is updating the emergency plan for the village, which will take effect in cases when emergency services cannot reach us. We are looking for at least 12 volunteers who can input into this new plan and help us to create a risk matrix. Roles include a community resilience coordinator and assistant coordinator, shelter team leader, coordination point team leader, and coordinators for communication, drills/training, vehicles/equipment, funding, consumable supplies, first aid, evacuation and liaison with emergency services. Our first meeting will be at the Village Institute on Saturday 8 February at 2-4pm. If you are interested, please email jenny.webster@silverdale-pc-lancs.gov.uk
