Signage
Some of the directional signs in the village have been replaced recently and there has been discussion at Council about this, with concerns raised . County and District Councillor Sarah Fishwick is in contact with Lancashire County Council in this regard.

Silverdale Level Crossing
The crossing was inspected on July 10 by HM Railway Inspectorate, with a Silverdale Parish Councillor in attendance. A report of the Inspector’s findings will be sent to the parish council.

Dog Fouling
Concerns have been expressed to Council about dog fouling and villagers are requested to clear up after their dogs.

Silverdale Children’s Playground
The playground will be inspected the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Playsafety Ltd., in August. Monthly inspections continue to be carried out by the Action for Silverdale Children Trust.

Code of Conduct
Council has adopted the new Model Code of Conduct for Parish and Town Council’s (2007) which is laid down by the Standards Board for England under the Local Government Act 2000.
