POTENTIAL PUBLIC HEALTH HAZARD
It has been brought to the attention of the Parish Council that some areas of Silverdale are being used for ‘wild camping’ which is resulting in rubbish and human waste being abandoned on site.
Many Recreational Vehicles (RVS) and camper vans have toilet facilities built in, but some visitors to the area are adapting their vehicles for overnight stays and do not have these facilities.
This situation could raise a serious Public Health issue and the parish council would like residents to be alert and send any reports to the Parish Council of such activity, with photographs, so that it can provide evidence to the affected landowners.
